Owner-trainer course 2025: Six passed

On Friday, 28 March, the first owner-trainer course 2025 came to an end with the practical exams at Christian von der Recke's facility in Weilerswist. A total of nine participants had started the various modules online and in person on 12 March. This time, two candidates took the opportunity to cover only some of the subject areas in this course, in order to then complete the remaining modules in the next course and then go through the examination programme.

In the spring 2025 course, seven candidates took the written and practical exams. In the end, the chair of the examination board, Erika Mäder, was able to congratulate six of them on passing. One person will need to retake the exam.

The following have demonstrated their qualification as owner-trainers in German gallop, which is a requirement for applying for a corresponding licence for active participation: (in alphabetical order) Katja Brauer Baratin, Diana Gerhard, Alexandra Liebert, Jorrit Mehl, Manuela Reiche and Sabine Wehmeier.

The next owner-trainer course with a final examination is planned for autumn 2025. The exact period will be announced in good time by the German Gallop Academy.
