3forOne: the global digital platform that revolutionised horse racing and horse auctions

 

Elon Musk recently announced that he wanted to create "X": his "everything" app. This means that he wants to offer a service that bundles multiple functions into a single interface. This convergence of functions is very much in keeping with the spirit of the times.

And long before the technology magnate presented his ingenious idea, our milieu, namely horse racing, already had its own "everything" platform. Its name? 3forOne!

This ambitious digital project has been led by Cecilia Botcheva-Helber since summer 2020. After the successful launch in the German-speaking region, 3forOne is now setting its sights on the French-speaking market, and at a fast pace. Together with the support of Sabine Lösch in France, Cecilia Botcheva-Helber and her team will be present at the auction in Deauville in November. Here she gives an overview of this digital platform. 

The concept

"The initial impetus for creating the platform was the internationally scattered information about horse auctions and racing events. People had to find their way between a multitude of websites, often written in a different language to that of the user. Through these two elements we saw a real market opportunity on an international level to attract all those involved in the horse industry by making it easier to access this information. For others, it is important to make the best use of their time. We are all happy when we can make time for ourselves. That's why I created 3ForOne, a trilingual digital platform - in German, French and English - that now makes it easy to do tasks that were previously scattered across the internet:

• With just a few clicks, you can access a racing calendar with all racing events and auction dates,
• bid online through multiple auction houses,
• check the availability of a jockey at a particular event,
• access live videos of the various auctions,
• watch the racing events live,
• contact other racing stakeholders,
• view the race results for a particular day, view the horses
• publicise the horses running in your colours,
• raise the profile of your stable or breeding and offer your services,
• highlight your breeding and the services you offer.

The ability to present the full range of these "services" in your native language and on one clear interface is unique in our sector.We and our wonderful team have brought out the best in ourselves and built internationally the horse industry's own networking platform around horse auctions and gallop racing, which is in many ways the most professional, attractive and efficient of its kind. We have focused the development of our platform on making it easy for everyone to use online horse auctions and races, and to offer everyone the right horse or the most important information in a structured and easily accessible way.
