In his 48-year professional career, Carlo Ancelotti has won almost everything with his football clubs, in every country. He ended the 2023-2024 season with a fifth Champions League title as coach of Real Madrid. He also won two as a player. After some real old-school midfield work, Ilaria Botti and Franco Raimondi managed to persuade the Mister (the Italian name for the coach) to answer a few questions.  

Jour de Galop. - When and why did you decide to have racehorses?
Carlo Ancelotti. - It was during the PSG era. The team's fitness trainer, Giovanni Mauri, was (and still is!) a big racing fan. That's when we got to know Alessandro Botti's stable, and we slowly decided to start working with horses...
