MARANOA CHARLIE ALONE AGAINST ALL
He is the only French competitor of the six starters in the Critérium International (Gr1). Maranoa Charlie (Wootton Bassett) is also the most demonstrative 2yo trained in France this year. He is unbeaten in three outings, including the Prix Thomas Bryon (Gr3) by a total margin of 19.5 lengths! The Christopher Head-bred has already raced on soft ground but this is the first time he will be running on such a tough track. This is the question mark over his candidacy. The O'Briens, father and son, are attacking with three men. We already know Mount Kilimanjaro (Siyouni), winner of the Arqana Critérium d'Automne on his third outing.
